Continuum Advisors represented a global private equity fund in the sale of Amavida, a 387-unit Florida campus acquired by an institutionally backed private developer.

Continuum Advisors has arranged the sale of Amavida, a newly-built, 387-unit Class-A rental senior living community located in Fort Myers, Florida. Delivered to the market in December of 2018, Amavida offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care on a 30+ acre site. The campus offers modern design with unparalleled, resort-style amenities including three swimming pools, multiple indoor and outdoor dining venues, and a 9,000+ SF clubhouse.
Continuum served as the exclusive sale-side representation for Quadrum Global, a $1+ billion global real estate investor and developer. Following a competitive sale process with multiple rounds of bidding, a national investor with an extensive development background emerged as the purchaser, in partnership with a national operator who will manage the community.
Ranked as the #1 retirement community by Fort Myers’ Community’s Choice Awards in 2023, the campus is uniquely situated on an in-fill site adjacent and with direct access to the 275+ acre Lakes Regional Park. The 570,000+ SF campus is comprised of 28 cottages, 223 IL apartments, 101 AL apartments, and 35 MC apartments. Amavida’s 9,000+ SF clubhouse boasts fitness, tennis, pickleball, basketball, and a putting green. The offering included 8 acres of fully-entitled land ready for a Phase II expansion of approximately 130 additional Independent Living units.
